Over 30 companies and 250 intermediaries and investors will come together during this gathering
The 18th Latibex Forum, organised by BME, begins with an opening event that will be presided over by José Manuel González-Páramo, CEO of BBVA; Luiz Fernando Leone, CEO of Brazilian power utility Copel; Manuel Manrique, Chairman and CEO of Sacyr and Antonio Zoido, Chairman of BME.
Under the “Eurolatam Business Meeting” heading, this year’s Forum not only intends to introduce the companies operating in the region to investors, but also to identify business trends and to help forge the necessary links in the relations between European and Latin American companies.
More than 30 Latin American and Spanish companies have confirmed their attendance at this traditional gathering, which will bring together over 250 European investors and financial intermediaries during the two-day Forum.
The different panels that will take place during the event will cover traditional sectors (energy, infrastructure and construction, tourism and real estate). However other isssues will also be discussed that have gained great relevance today such as "The role of women directors in Latin American companies”, “The fintech revolution and its importance in commercial banking and other financial services", and the promotion of "innovation and entrepreneurship as growth drivers" on both sides of the Atlantic.
During this annual gathering, the best analysts of macroeconomics specialising in Latin America and some of the most experienced investors come together to share their outlook on the region’s prospects.
