Over 40 US institutional investors to meet with Spanish Midcap companies in New York and Chicago

Sixth edition of the Spanish Small & Midcaps Conference in New York and Chicago co-hosted by BME and JB Capital Markets with the support of local firm Auerbach Grayson.

Tomorrow will start of the sixth edition of the Spanish Small & Midcaps Conference, co-hosted by BME and JB Capital Markets with the support of local firm Auerbach Grayson. The event will take place on 14 and 15 June in New York and Chicago.

The Conference will bring together the senior managers of 14 Spanish listed companies of medium and small capitalisation with 40 US institutional investors with a great interest in investing in the Spanish market. Through the more than 150 one-on-one meetings scheduled, top international investors will have the opportunity to meet these Spanish companies and receive further information about them. 

Through this initiative, BME and JB Capital Markets intend to boost the liquidity and financing capacity of these companies by increasing transparency and their relations with major international investors.

The companies that will be represented are Acciona, Axiare, BME, CIE Automotive, Ebro Foods, Hispania, Inmobiliaria Colonial, LAR España, Merlin Properties, NH Hotel Group, Parques Reunidos, Pharma Mar, Sacyr and Saeta Yield, which have a combined market value of more than €30 billion.

In addition to these private meetings, during the luncheon José Carlos García Quevedo, Executive Director at Invest in Spain, ICEX, will give an address about investment opportunities in Spain for companies and foreign investors.
