BME to distribute its second interim dividend against 2017 earnings on 29th. December

• It represents a gross €0.6 per share
• Announcing the dividend payment dates for 2018

The Board of Directors of BME today agreed to distribute to its shareholders on December 29^th the second interim dividend against 2017 earnings, to the value of €50 million. The figure represents a gross €0.6 per share, the same as that distributed a year ago.

On September 8^th BME distributed the first interim dividend, for a gross amount of €0.4 per share.

As part of the dividend payment policy followed by BME since 2009, which consists in the distribution of the company’s ordinary dividend in three payments, BME’s dividend payments in 2018 will be as follows:

-          Final Dividend year 2017: 

           11 May 2018

-          First interim dividend against 2018 earnings:

          14 September 2018

-          Second interim dividend against 2018 earnings: 

           28 December 2018

BME would like to reiterate the importance that the publication of the shareholder remuneration policy of companies and of any change to it in due time has in the appropriate share price discovery and valuation of derivative instruments.
