MARF registers a new commercial paper programme by Atlantica

BME’s Fixed Income Market, MARF, today admitted Atlantica Yield’s first Commercial Paper Programme to trading. Atlantica has been listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market Market since June 2014. Through this continuous issuance Programme the company will be able to place for a year commercial paper with a maximum outstanding balance of 50 million euros and maturities ranging between three days and twenty-four months.

Bankinter participates in the Programme as Sole-Lead Arranger, Placement Entity and Payment Agent, while VGM Advisory is Atlantica Yield’s Registered Advisor with MARF. The issuer’s legal advisors for this transaction have been Ramón y Cajal for Spanish Law and Mayer Brown regarding English Law.

Atlantica has been granted a BB positive outlook rating by Standard & Poor’s and BB, stable by Fitch Ratings.

Atlantica is a sustainable infrastructure company that manages a diversified portfolio comprising 25 assets, mainly in the renewable energy sector.

The international sustainability assessment agency Sustainalytics has rated Atlantica as the best company in the renewable energy sector, based on its rating universe in relation to corporate strategy criteria in the social, environmental and corporate governance fields.

In 2018 the company reported total revenues of 1.04 billion dollars and an adjusted EBITDA - including non-consolidated companies - of 859 million.
