Board of Directors Mr Ignacio Gómez-Sancha (Secretary to the Board of Directors, non-Director)

Mr. Gómez-Sancha holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid.

He is the Non-Director Secretary of the Board of Directors of Bolsas y Mercados Españoles, Sociedad Holding de Mercados y Sistemas Financieros, S.A., since July 2023. He is also Secretary of the Board of CFA Society Spain.

He is the Managing Partner of the Madrid office of Latham & Watkins since 2019, where he advises on capital markets, M&A and Private Equity, as well as on restructurings and special situations. He was a member of the Consultative Committee of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). He has also been a member of the “Legal Certainty Project Experts Group” of the European Commission and a representative of Spain in the international conventions on “intermediated securities” and “financial netting” of Unidroit. He has advised numerous listed entities as secretary of the board of directors. He has been a professor of Commercial Law and is a regular speaker and author of numerous publications in the field of Securities Market Law.
