Since 2010 he is Director and member of the Investment Committee, and since 2020 Chairman, of Gawa Capital Management SGEIC, an investment management firm.

Since 2018 he is Director of Árima Real Estate SOCIMI, S.A., as well as Patron of the Pablo Horstmann´s Foundation.

Between 2016 and 2020 he was Chief Strategy and Restructuring Officer of Abengoa, S.A.

Between 2014 and 2018 he was Director of Axiare Patrimonio SOCIMI, S.A.

Between 2013 and 2016 he was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of World Duty Free SpA.

Between 2011 and 2012 he was Director of Atento Inversiones y Teleservicios, S.A.

Between 2010 and 2013 he was Co-Founder and Partner of BK Partners, an investment management firm in Mexico and Spain.

Between 2006 and 2009 he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets España, S.A., S.V., serving as Head of Global Markets and Investment Banking for Spain and Portugal. He was also a member of the Investment Banking Operating Committee for Europe, Middle East and Africa of Merrill Lynch.

Between 1995 and 2006 he developed his career at Goldman Sachs, in different positions at the London and Madrid offices. Between 2000 and 2006 he served as Managing Director.

Between 1989 and 1995 he worked in the London offices of Salomon Brothers.
