14 November, 2018

The Latibex Forum, hosted by BME, begins its 20th edition tomorrow in the Madrid stock exchange palace building with an opening event that will have the presence of the Minister for the Economy and Business, Nadia Calviño as special guest, in addition to José Antonio Álvarez, CEO of Banco Santander, Fernando Ruiz, Chairman of Deloitte and Antonio Vázquez , Chairman of IAG, and Antonio Zoido, Chairman of BME, who will welcome all attendees.

As in previous editions, the Forum intends not only to introduce the companies operating in the area to investors, but also to identify business trends and foster the necessary business links between European and Latin American companies.

On this occasion and despite the difficult situation that Latin America is going through, there are high expectations around the meeting: almost 50 companies and over 200 investors and analysts have announced their attendance at this edition, the 20th.

The conferences and panels prepared for the occasion will particularly focus on the economic performance of the region in the last 20 years and the recommendations from managers, as well as the technological transformation seen in these last two decades. Besides, there will also be specific meetings about the contribution of Mexican companies to the development of their country and others dedicated to the Brazilian economy and the financing structures in Latin America.
