BME brings together Spanish companies with European investors at the Geneva European Midcap Event

30 November, 2020

On December 1st and 2nd BME will bring together several Spanish companies with European investors in Geneva for the twelfth edition of the Geneva European Midcap Event, which this year will be held remotely due to the health situation.

The event, which BME has been organising since 2017, will be attended by Colonial, Ebro Foods, Fluidra, Laboratorios Rovi, Solaria and Viscofan, who will hold private meetings with a group of European investors, mainly from Switzerland, thus providing them with greater knowledge of the companies’ reality and current situation.

The six Spanish companies attending represent such diverse sectors as renewable energy, pharmaceutical and food and have a combined market value in excess of 15.5 billion euros.

The event takes place just a few days after the Latibex Forum and closes the BME corporate access calendar for 2020.

Despite the situation caused by the Covid-19, BME has completed an annual programme of meetings between listed companies and institutional investors from the world's major financial centres, such as New York, Frankfurt, Paris, Madrid and Geneva.

Furthermore, the adaptation of the events to a virtual format has increased the number of international investors contacted as well as the number of meetings held between investors and companies.
