Nueva Pescanova registers a new 50 million euro Commercial Paper Programme with MARF

BME’s Fixed Income Market, MARF, today admitted the first Commercial Paper (CP) Programme for trading from Nueva Pescanova. This commercial paper program will allow Nueva Pescanova to access professional investors in a flexible manner to diversify its sources of financing and place issues up to a maximum outstanding balance of 50 million euros. The CPs to be issued will have a nominal value per unit of 100,000 euros and a maximum maturity of two years.

Abanca participates in the Commercial Paper Programme as Arranger, while the placement of the issues will be carried out by Abanca itself and Banco Santander. Deloitte Financial Advisory is the company's Registered Advisor.

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo Abogados has legally advised the parties on the registration of the Programme.

Nueva Pescanova and its subsidiaries make up a multinational group of Galician origin specialising in the fishing, cultivation, production and commercialisation of seafood products. Nueva Pescanova Group commercializes seafood products to millions of homes around the world and it currently distributes seventy different marine species in ninety countries on the five continents. In 2020 the company achieved a turnover of 905.2 million euros and EBITDA of 40.7 million. Nueva Pescanova employs around 10,000 workers.
