Eurona is the Spanish telecommunications multinational that provides broadband access services and carries high-speed Internet where others do not. With presence in more than twenty countries, up to 280 workers and 40.000 clients, the company democratizes Internet access and offers connectivity in areas of weak coverage or none, especially in rural areas and towns with population under 100,000. In addition, Eurona is also present in the public sector and in small, medium and large companies with special consideration in transport and tourism infrastructure sectors. All this is possible thanks to leading strategic markets such as Satellite, WiFi or fixed 4G and it is in the pole position of 5G technology with its licensed band of 3.5 Ghz, which is one of its main assets.
Among its latest milestones, Eurona has reached an agreement with Spanish satellite operator Hispasat to contribute to reduce the digital gap in Spain through the use of satellite broadband connectivity. The goal is to offer people living in these areas a technological solution comparable in quality and price to other terrestrial technologies. This concers to 5 million people and 2,500 villages, many with a deficient or null connection to Internet.
This identity of which Eurona remains faithful from its origins and marked each one of the acquisitions that it has carried out in recent years has allowed the company to grow, altogether with the trust of clients and investors, which look Eurona as a long-term company with a solid project, letting the company places at the 'Top 10' of telecommunications operators in Spain and the leading operator in satellite capacity in Europe.
