Marta Bartolomé Yllera is appointed new CFO of BME

The Board of Directors of BME has agreed, at its meeting held today, to appoint Marta Bartolomé Yllera CFO of BME, following a report from the company’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

The CFO Department of BME leads the economic and financial management of the Group and it integrates the Comptroller, Treasury, Risk management Tax and Suppliers areas. Besides, she will head the General Services area and will join the Group’s Coordination Committee.

Marta is also a Board Director of the Group's Central Counterparty, BME Clearing, and a member of its Audit Committee.

She holds a Degree in Business Science - specialising in Finance - from CUNEF and holds an Executive MBA Degree from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid.

Prior to that, she had worked as the Comptroller of the BME Group since 2003 and was actively involved in the company's IPO, in 2006. In 1999 she joined SENAF and later on she became the CFO of MF Holding, which comprised MEFF, AIAF and SENAF, all of which are now part of BME. Prior to this she had worked for Deloitte.
