IGBM index new composition for the second half 2017
- The index will comprise 122 stocks, following five additions and three exclusions
The Indice General de la Bolsa de Madrid (IGBM) Management Committee has decided, in accordance with the technical provisions for the composition, calculation and sectoral division of the IGBM index family, to approve the composition of the IGBM and Indice Total indices for the second half of 2017.
Having considered the data relating to trading and capitalisation, five stocks will be included in the index while three others will be excluded. The IGBM composition for the second half of 2017 will therefore have 122 constituents.
The Committee also agrees to propose changing the subsector of an IGBM constituent so that under the new composition its weighting is reflected in its new sector and/or subsector. Colonial will become part of the Index of the REITS Subsector, which is part of the Financial Services and Real Estate Sector. Previously it was part of the same sector and of the Real Estate sub-sector index.
The summary of inclusions and exclusions is as follows:
INCLUSIONS:
- Prosegur Cash, as a newly listed stock, admitted to trading on 17 March 2017.
- Neinor Homes, as a newly listed stock, admitted to trading on 24 March 2017.
- Gestamp Automoción, as a newly listed stock, admitted to trading on 7 April 2017.
- Pescanova, following the end of the trading suspension on 7 June 2017 and the company having met the admission criteria.
- Service Point Solutions, following the end of the trading suspension on 27 December 2016 and the company having met the admission criteria.
EXCLUSIONS:
- Cementos Portland Valderrivas, due to delisting on 24 February 2017, following takeover bid by FCC.
- Tecnocom, Telecomunicaciones y Energía, due to delisting on 22 May 2017, following takeover bid by Indra.
- Banco Popular Español, due to delisting on 9 June 2017, in accordance with Resolution from the Steering Committee of the Fondo de Reestructuración Ordenada Bancaria (FROB).
