VOCENTO to issue commercial paper on MARF

• For a maximum outstanding amount of €50 million

The Mercado Alternativo de Renta Fija (MARF) has registered a Commercial Paper Programme by Vocento with a maximum outstanding amount of €50 million. Under this programme and up to November 2018 the company will have the possibility to issue individual tranches of commercial paper with minimum denominations of €100,000 and maturities up to 24 months.

Banco Santander, Bankia and Norbolsa participate as placement entities for the programme and PKF Attest is the Registered Advisor. Law firm J&A Garrigues has acted as legal advisor for the issuer during the registration with MARF.

Vocento is the parent company of a multimedia group with a national and / or regional focus and positioning, which is made up of more than 60 companies dedicated to media management and additional publishing activities. The Group represented by the issuer, as it is known today, was born in 2002 following the merger of Grupo Correo and Prensa Española. However, Vocento’s history dates back to 1891 in the case of the ABC newspaper and to 1854 as far as some of the regional newspapers that it publishes are concerned.

The consolidated revenue of Vocento in 2016 reached €448.7 million.
