BME supports the Caracas Stock Exchange in its trading platform upgrade

The Caracas Stock Exchange has successfully launched a new version of the SMART-SIBE trading platform, developed by BME and in production since 1999.

The platform runs the trading of Equity and Fixed Income instruments with real-time dissemination. The start-up responds to the interest of the Caracas Stock Exchange in providing its market with a modern system that meets international standards. To this end, BME has also developed an additional module that allows the calculation and dissemination of indices.

With the launch of this new version of the system, the Caracas Stock Exchange reinforces its commitment to the technological and functional modernisation of its financial markets.

In this it relies on the collaboration of BME, both in the implementation and in the maintenance and support work, which reaffirms its commitment to the Latin American markets within the framework of its internationalisation process.
