IGBM index new composition for the first half 2019

The Indice General de la Bolsa de Madrid (IGBM) Management Committee has decided, in accordance with the technical provisions for the composition, calculation and sectoral division of the IGBM index family, to approve the composition of the IGBM and Indice Total indices for the first half of 2019.

Having considered the data relating to trading and capitalisation, four stocks will be included in the index while another four will be excluded. The IGBM composition for the first half of 2019 will therefore have 127 constituents.

The Committee has also proposed the reorganisation of sectors in which the Financial and Real Estate Sector index is split into two: the Financial Services Sector index and the Real Estate Services Sector. According to this proposal, the new Financial Sector Index will have 4 subsector indexes: Banks and Savings Banks, Insurance, Portfolio and Holding Companies, and Investment Services. Meanwhile, the Real Estate Services Sector will have 2 sub-sector indices: Real Estate and others and REITs.

The summary of inclusions and exclusions is as follows:

INCLUSIONS:

Amrest Holdings, as a newly listed stock admitted to trading on November 21, 2018. It is included in the Consumer Services Sector and Leisure, Tourism and Catering Subsector.

Arima Real Estate Socimi, as a newly listed stock admitted to trading on October 23, 2018. It is included in the Real Estate Services Sector, and REITS Subsector.

Berkeley Energia Limited, as a newly listed stock admitted to trading on July 18, 2018. It is included in the Basic Materials, Industry and Construction sector, and Minerals, Metals and Metallic Products Transformation Subsector.

Solarpack Corporación Tecnológica, as a newly listed stock admitted to trading on December 5, 2018. It is included in the Oil and Energy Sector and Renewable Energy Subsector.

EXCLUSIONS:

Abertis Infraestructuras, having been delisted on August 6, 2018, after a takeover bid by Hochtief AG.

Adveo Group International, suspended from trading by the Spanish stock market supervisor, CNMV, on November 14, 2018, as a result of the refinancing process and the adoption of the protection mechanism contained in article 5bis of Law 22/2003.

Borges Agricultural & Industrial Nuts, the company having failed to comply with the criteria.

Papeles y Cartones de Europa, as a consequence of the public offering for its shares tendered by DS Smith Plc. whose objective is to delist the shares from the Spanish Stock Exchanges.

Final weightings by sectors, subsectors and stocks will be published on the Madrid Stock Exchange’s Official Daily Bulletin of 31^st December 2018.
