BME incorporates Flow Traders as a liquidity provider in the ETF segment

BME welcomes Flow Traders as a new liquidity provider in the exchange-traded funds (ETFs) segment. The firm, which is one of the largest ETF liquidity providers in Europe, enters the Spanish market through Banco Sabadell, a trusted and reputable market member.

The role of liquidity providers is critical in the ETF market. Exchange traded funds are traded and settled in exactly the same way as equities and access to liquidity is ensured by liquidity providers who are committed to consistently offer bid and offer prices for the ETFs they manage.

Flow Traders has a presence in Europe, the United States and Asia Pacific. Its mission, as a global liquidity provider, is to drive efficiency, transparency and innovation in global  financial markets.

The arrival of Flow Traders in the ETF segment of the Spanish stock exchange is part of BME's efforts to add more liquidity and depth to the ETF segment. The aim is to facilitate clients' access to this product and to offer them a wider range of ETFs to diversify their portfolio, with options that cover different regions, sectors, strategies and themes..

Being one of the biggest members of the Spanish Equity Market, Banco de Sabadell, positions itself as a relevant member in the ETF segment, contributing to promoting the execution of these assets on the BME

BME has more than 15 years of experience in the ETF segment, financial instruments that combine the diversification advantages of mutual funds with the flexibility of equity trading.

BBVA AM and Amundi ETFs are currently listed, linked to the IBEX 35 and the EuroStoxx 50.
