  • It is the twentieth company to join this market aimed at start-ups, SOCIMIs and all types of companies seeking a first contact with the markets.

BME Scaleup today welcomed Alquiler Seguro Asset Market SOCIMI. The traditional ringing of the bell at the Madrid Stock Exchange was led by Mr. Sergi Gargallo Lorente, Chairman and CEO of ASAM and CEO of Alquiler Seguro, who was accompanied by Jesús González Nieto, Managing Director of BME Scaleup.

The company, which is the twentieth to join this new BME market, took as a reference a price of 13.8 euros per share, which implies a total valuation of the company of 5 million euros.

Jesús González explained that “We are delighted to welcome Alquiler Seguro Asset Market SOCIMI to BME SCALEUP at the end of the year. With this incorporation, there are now 20 companies that have started trading on this market since we launched it more than a year ago. This is excellent news because it shows that the simplification of the incorporation requirements for this market segment is highly appreciated by companies, as well as providing a first approach to the capital markets ‘’.

The company, whose registered advisor is VGM Advisory Partners, has started trading under the code ‘SCASM’.

This new BME market is particularly aimed at scaleups, companies with a proven business model, in an accelerated growth phase for at least three years, with a minimum turnover of €1 million and/or an investment of at least that amount. This market, which offers the necessary transparency to investors and simplifies incorporation requirements for companies, is also open to other types of companies such as SMEs, SOCIMIs or family businesses seeking a first contact with the capital markets.

Among the advantages of BME Scaleup for companies are its ability to boost growth with funds for financing, obtain greater prestige and brand visibility, the possibility of broadening their investor base, the boost to inorganic growth and greater ease of attracting and retaining talent.

To be listed on this market a company must be a public limited company, have a board of directors, be accompanied by an advisor registered with the market and publish audited annual accounts. It will not be necessary to have a liquidity provider or to meet a minimum free float.

BME Scaleup already has 14 registered advisors.
