Kick-Start Your Career with Our Graduate Program

Are you keen to kick-start your career? Then apply for our International Graduate Program. We are looking for candidates with a degree in Business, Economics, IT, or a comparable course of study. The program will give you an insight into the world of BME and SIX and different areas of the company. Join us, discover your talents and further develop your strengths. The application process for the next International Graduate Program begins in March 2025.

Structure of Our Graduate Program

During the Discovery Week, you will gather with your peers for a special onboarding in Zurich, Switzerland to get an overview of our business units, meet members of our Executive Board and your mentor, with whom you will regularly exchange views, thoughts, and ideas. Your mentor will guide and support you throughout the Graduate Program. For each of the three assignment you will have a placement advisor who also will be there for you.

After six months of the program, you will have learned quite a lot about SIX and BME. Now it’s time to learn even more. You will go to Switzerland for three months to broaden your knowledge. Wherever your deployment takes you, this rotation enables you to gain further experience and additional insights into SIX.

When the last four months of the Graduate Program get underway, for you this means completing training courses, wrapping up business tasks, and extensively discussing the feedback on your personal development. Then, for the finale, it’s time to celebrate your fascinating 18-month journey with SIX and BME.

You spend your first six months in your home country in a business unit or corporate function department that matches your chosen specialization. During that time, you attend initial training courses at our SIX Academy. You are entitled to a total of 15 training days during your time with us.


 

Back in Madrid you spend the next five months in a different department of your choice. Wherever your placement takes you, this rotation enables you to gain further experience and expand your network at BME.

    You apply to our Graduate Program for an "IT" or "Capital Market" track. With both specializations, you will be able to sharpen your profile by choosing different departments.
