BME is the operator of the Spanish stock market infrastructure and its main social function is to provide financing to companies through these markets.

More than 800 companies are listed for trading on the different markets and trading systems managed by BME. The number fluctuates depending on the number of companies listed and delisted at any given time. You can check the updated list in the Listed Companies section of BME Exchange. 

BME consists of several subsidiaries. These include the four Exchanges, Sociedad de Bolsas, MEFF, BME Renta Fija, Iberclear, BME Clearing, REGIS-TR, BME InnTech, BME Latam, BME Regulatory Services, Instituto BME, BME Market Data, BME Post Trade Services and BME Group Services.
