Latibex is BME’s international market that connects Europe and Latin America through stock market investment. As the world’s only market dedicated exclusively to Latin American securities, it brings together some of the region’s leading companies, whose shares can be traded in euros using the same trading, settlement, and supervision infrastructure as the Spanish stock market. As a result, European investors can easily access the Latin American stock market, while companies increase their visibility among international investors and gain easier access to Europe’s capital markets, all in a regulated, transparent and secure environment.

Yes. Members of Latin American stock exchanges may apply to become members of Latibex, provided they meet the requirements applicable to non-resident entities, belong to a stock exchange whose securities are also listed on Latibex, and there are cooperation agreements in place between the relevant supervisory authorities and markets.
Admission requires authorization from the CNMV and approval by the Latibex Governing Board, following the submission of an application and a commitment to comply with the market's rules and regulations.
Additions and withdrawals of securities in Latibex can be carried out either through a liaison entity or through the direct connection between Iberclear and the central securities depository in the security’s home market.
In both cases, the participating entity must submit the relevant instructions, including information on the security, the number of shares, the participating entity, the beneficial owner, and the settlement details.
Once the instructions have been verified and the transfer of the securities has been confirmed, Iberclear manages the allocation or return of the securities, ensuring a secure, efficient process that is coordinated with the settlement systems of the home markets.
