The Spanish multinational producer of clean energy and pioneer in the storage industry took its first steps in the capital markets on 8 July 2015 when it began trading on BME Growth — BME's platform for growing companies — with the aim of financing its growth through a capital increase.

Since then, Grenergy has become a business success story, achieving remarkable growth in its financial performance and strategic positioning. Over the past decade, it has been the company that has performed best, not only in the Spanish stock market, but also in the major European markets.

Grenergy started 2025 with exceptional results, increasing its net profit fivefold in the first quarter to €32.4 million. EBITDA amounted to €62 million, up 165%, while revenues amounted to €237 million, up 116%.

Stock market performance has accompanied this growth. Grenergy debuted on BME Growth with an initial price of €1.38 per share. Ten years later, its shares are trading at over 61 euros, representing a revaluation of more than 4,300% since they were floated on the market.

This track record has boosted its market capitalisation, which has increased 45-fold.

The company has also been a pioneer in the domestic fixed income market. In 2019, it became the first company to issue a green bond on the Alternative Fixed Income Market (MARF), and in 2021 it launched Spain's first green notes programme.

Grenergy is a paradigmatic example of a company that has made the leap from BME Growth to the Main Market of the Madrid Stock Exchange after debuting there, thereby reaffirming its maturity and attractiveness to institutional investors.

Grenergy is a prime example of a company that has made the leap from BME Growth to the Main Market of the Madrid Stock Exchange, thereby reaffirming its maturity and appeal to institutional investors. In December 2019, it entered this segment with an initial public offering (IPO) price of €16.10 per share, becoming the only stock to access the continuous market that year. Since then, the company has recorded remarkable growth, increasing the value of its shares fourfold.

As of the end of June 2025, Grenergy currently trades at €61.5 per share. So far in 2025, the stock has risen by almost 90%, largely due to strong investor interest following the presentation of the new strategic plan at the Capital Markets Day in London on 28 May.

David Ruiz de Andrés, CEO and founder of Grenergy, says: "We are very proud of the achievements of the entire Grenergy team. Ten years later, we maintain the same ambition to continue growing exponentially and playing a decisive role in the energy transition".

BME Growth has played a key role in supporting SMEs.

BME Growth has proven to be a key platform for small and medium-sized companies with high potential to access the capital markets. In a country like Spain, where 99% of businesses are SMEs — responsible for 65% of GDP and 80% of employment — this type of access is essential for fostering innovation, growth, and competitiveness.

Grenergy's success story demonstrates how this platform can serve as a springboard to stock market success, enabling companies to consolidate and transition to the Main Market with a robust structure and dedicated investor base.
