MARF registers a bond programme from Traianus DAC

MARF, BME’s Fixed Income market, has registered a bond programme for up to 10 billion euros from Traianus DAC. The issuer is an Irish designated activity company established for the purpose of issuing bonds under the programme. As set out in the issuer’s general investment guidelines, its target sectors are in the social, transport, waste and water, power, energy and telecommunications sectors, according to the documentation that has been registered with the market.

Under the programme, Traianus DAC will issue different bond series to be purchased by qualified investors. The bonds may be denominated in euros or other currencies agreed with investors, will feature maturities of up to 50 years, yields linked to the performance of the issuer’s assets under management and nominal units of 100,000 euros or its equivalent in other currency.

VGM Advisory Partners is the issuer’s Registered Advisor in MARF, while The Bank of New York Mellon, London Branch is participating as issuing and paying agent and accounts bank and The Bank of New York Mellon (International) Limited acts as the issuer’s custodian. Traianus DAC has been advised on the Irish legal issues associated with the programme issuance and listing process by Matheson.

Traianus DAC’s core activity consists of entering into financial transactions, including but not limited to, the purchase and sale, holding, collection, financing and administration of securities, debt instruments or obligations of any nature.
