Atresmedia is the Spanish leader Communication Group; the only audiovisual company with a key position in every sector in which it operates – television, radio, digital and multimedia development, cinema and even events organisation- through its flagship brands, Antena 3, La Sexta, Onda Cero and Europa FM. Atresmedia runs its activities through the divisions described below:
Atresmedia Television counts on a leader offer of six free to air channels which complement and satisfy the demands of spectators and advertisers. The channels Antena 3 and laSexta, are oriented to a generalistic audience. The rest of the channels are target oriented: Neox, to young public, Nova, mainly oriented to women, Mega to a male target, and Atreseries mainly based on scripted content. The model drawn up is functioning efficiently, to the point that the Group of channels reached 27,3% audience share in the year 2021. This audience climbs up to 27.8% in the most attractive target for advertisers.
Atresmedia Radio, is the radio division of the group. It offers a variety of contents through three radio stations with high levels of audience: Onda Cero, the talk radio of the group, and the the most relevant one; and two music formula stations, Europa FM and Melodia FM. Atresmedia Radio is the third radio player in Spain, with almost three million listeners every day.
Atresmedia Digital, division of the company that manages digital supports, continues to beat its own brands, exponentially boosting the communication capacity as a group and exploring with top marks new means to reach the audience through innovation. It offers content through the TV channels and radio stations websites, as well as through a wide variety of vertical portals under its management. One of the most relevant assets of Atresmedia in the digital environment is the Group’s Video on Demand platform, available on an AVoD format (Atresplayer: ad funded) and on its SVoD format (Atresplayer Premium: subscription based). Every day, more than 400k subscribers receive exclusive content free of advertising. Atresmedia Digital also counts on a digital advertising agency called Smartclip, purchased in 2017, and an influencers marketing company called H2H (acquired in 2020).
