Sociedad de Bolsas, as the legal entity in charge of managing the Spanish Stock Exchange Interconnection System (S.I.B) allows market members to access the System and introduce orders via two possible mechanisms:
Any ISV that a market member would like to use for this purpose should pass a process of homologation and certification with the parameters and filters defined by Sociedad de Bolsas.

Several actors take part in the stock exchange. Companies issue shares or bonds to raise financing. Investors (both retail and institutional) buy and sell these securities seeking returns. To trade in the market, investors access it through market members—such as banks or brokers—who are the only participants authorized to place buy and sell orders.
In addition, the stock exchange and regulators ensure the market operates in a transparent and orderly way.
Investors send their buy or sell orders through market members.These intermediaries submit the orders to the exchange’s trading system, called SIBE. There, orders are matched with compatible ones and trades are executed. The entire process follows rules designed to ensure transparency, equal access, and the proper functioning of the market.
