Alicia Reyes Revuelta has over 30 years of experience in Investment Banking and Private Equity with a strong track record managing global businesses. She is currently a Board member at BME, Chair of the Advisory Board of Ardonagh Europe and an independent Board Member of EDP (PSI), and KBC Group (BEL).
She has been member of the Board of Ferrovial (IBEX), Banco Sabadell (IBEX) while Founder President and CEO of Momentus Securities, a New York based broker-dealer focused on providing capital markets access to socially committed companies in the United States.
Previously she was the Chief Executive Officer of Wells Fargo Securities for EMEA, a position she held for five years until 2020. Where she steered the bank´s businesses through several restructurings, digital transformation, regulatory challenges, Brexit and the pandemic amongst other events.
Alicia was Founding partner at Olympo Capital, a Private Equity firm, and before that she served for eight years at Barclays Capital in various senior positions including Global Head of Structuring FIG IBD, Global Head of Insurance Solutions and Strategic Equity Derivatives.
She also worked for Bear Stearns (JP Morgan) as Country Manager for Spain and Portugal between 2002-2006 and Board Member in Marco Polo SGCR and TDA SGFT. Before she was CIO and CFO at Telvent AG, a venture capital fund focused on TMT. She started her career as an associate in Derivatives at Deutsche Bank in London.
Alicia graduated from ICADE, Madrid with a PhD in Quantitative Methods and Financial Markets (Thesis on Credit Risk Modelling - Summa cum laude) and a double degree in Law, Economics and Business Administration (1996). As a Fellow Professor in the Institute of Finance and Technology MSc program on Digital Banking at University College London she co-founded the FinTech Incubator and the Artificial Intelligence Lab. She is also a guest lecturer on Sustainable Finance in the MBA program at IESE.
In 2016, Alicia was included in The Female FTSE Board Report (Cranfield): 100 Women to Watch. She has been Trustee at Fareshare, the largest charity in the UK fighting hunger and co-founder of 10 Million Women, a social enterprise to help disadvantaged women access the labour market.
