Besides this year its Tier1 Group 30th anniversary. Since its foundation, the company has undergone a transformation process turning a local Andalusian company into a consolidated business group nationally and internationally, with an experienced management team and more than 300 employees that guarantee its future growth. In 2022 the Group recorded revenues of more than 18 million euros and 1.9 million euros EBITDA, maintaining a solid and solvent balance sheet, with high liquidity and low level of indebtedness. With more than 20 offices in Spain, it has international presence in Portugal, Miami, LATAM and Brazil, from where it serves clients in the Industrial and public sectors, with special focus on the Retail sector, in which it is a benchmark in infrastructures and operations, as well as in software.

The Group owns comerzzia, a software solution specifically built for the Retail sector, which has been referenced since 2016 by the prestigious international consultancy Gartner as one of the best solutions worldwide to address the casuistry of unified commerce. Inorganic growth via acquisitions has also been significant. Thus, since 2017 the Tier1 Group has acquired a majority stake in several companies:  Dinamic Area in Seville, ASG in Madrid, Compudata in Bilbao and CPI Retail in Lisbon. In addition, the subsidiary Comerzzia Brasil was constituted in 2022 together with its partner Seidor Retail Brasil.

As part of its growth strategy in June 2018, Tier1 began trading on the alternative stock market BME Growth in which it currently capitalizes around 20 million euros, with a 35% free float. In 2022 was one of the 15 most liquid securities in this market. The company has maintained shareholder remuneration, distributing 1.8 million euros in dividends up to date. BME Growth allows small and medium-sized companies in expansion to finance themselves in the capital markets. This is a particularly critical issue in Spain, where 99% of companies are SMEs, account for 65% of GDP and employ 80% of the active population. Jesús González, CEO of BME Growth, points out that since the creation of the market, it has been raised more than 6,500 million euros which is a great figure for small and mid-size growing companies.

For Eduardo Fuentesal, Executive Chairman of the Tier1 Group, the BME Growth market has been an important factor and will continue to be in facilitating Tier1 success in the execution of its growth strategy.  With recurrent communication with investors, share liquidity and shareholders remuneration as pillars of our capital market strategy.
