BME Awards Prizes to the Best Papers on Equities, Fixed Income and Derivatives

BME once again awarded prizes to the best research papers on the equity, fixed income and derivatives markets presented at the 32nd Finance Forum of the Spanish Finance Association (AEFIN). More than a hundred researchers from the most prestigious universities and institutions from around the world gathered at an event that has become a benchmark for the financial and academic world.

In the last edition held on July 2-4 in Pamplona, more than 100 selected papers were presented and discussed, with a high level of participation and attendance in all sessions, favoring the exchange of innovative ideas and the discussion of emerging trends in finance. Once again this year, BME awarded prizes for the best research papers on equity, fixed income and derivatives markets. These awards, sponsored by BME, AEFIN, SANFI, CNMV and INVERCO, recognize outstanding research contributions and are an important part of the Finance Forum tradition.

Mariana Longobardo, Director of BME's Research Department, presented the awards, and stressed that "BME's commitment to financial education encompasses actions not only aimed at small savers, but also at cutting-edge academic research in finance, which plays a crucial role in the functioning of markets, offering in-depth analysis and empirical data that help to improve market efficiency, develop new financial tools and formulate more effective economic policies. The growth of this meeting highlights the increasing quality of the papers presented and the international prestige that year after year this meeting of top-level researchers is acquiring, which also gives way to young talents with great potential.
