This data consolidates the role of these markets as key platforms for driving the development of innovative and high-potential companies in Spain. In the last year, the turnover of these companies grew by 6.5%.
The expanding companies, a segment that includes the companies with the highest projection within these markets, have recorded even more notable growth, with an annualized increase of 30.6% in their revenue over the same period.

In terms of operating profitability, the total EBITDA of BME Growth and Scaleup companies has grown by 23% annually over the last decade, and by 23.3% in the last year alone. Expanding companies have shown particularly dynamic behaviour, with an annualised growth of 27.6% over 10 years and 32% in the last fiscal year.

Employment has also followed an upward trajectory. Companies in BME's growth markets have increased their workforce by 27.8% annually over the past ten years, reaching a total of 34,546 employees. It is an annual growth of 3.4% compared to 2023. In the case of expanding companies, employment growth has been 28.6% annually in the same period.
