  • The ‘traveltech’ company, which made its debut on BME Scaleup in July 2024, is the second to take this step

BME’s financing ladder continues to solidify. Bytetravel, which joined BME Scaleup two years ago, will become a new company on BME Growth on July 3, following approval by the market’s Board of Directors.

The Catalan company, which was the first newly founded tech scaleup to join BME’s growth markets, is making this leap following strong performance during its time on BME Scaleup. Since its debut in 2024, it has maintained an outstanding track record, reflecting strong performance and a steady consolidation in the market. With its move to BME Growth, the second such move by a company originating from BME Scaleup, the firm is taking a natural step forward and reaffirming its commitment to greater liquidity and transparency.

The company’s ticker symbol will be “BYTE.” Its registered advisor is Renta 4 Corporate, while Renta 4 Banco acts as a liquidity provider.

“This new milestone represents a major achievement not only for Bytetravel, but also for BME. With this step, we are demonstrating that the markets are a necessary source of financing and an optimal resource for companies to achieve their goals, finance their projects, and continue growing alongside the markets. BME supports companies throughout their journey through the financial markets,” explains Jesús González Nieto, managing director of BME Growth and BME Scaleup of BME.

Bytetravel is a Spanish company founded in 2021 that specializes in the traveltech sector (travel technology) and focuses on creating support services for tourists and business travelers around the world. They currently process visas for more than 70 countries and expect to reach 150 in the coming years. This service operates under the European brand Visagov, which has become an international leader in just three years.

The company also aims to create and operate complementary services for tourists and business travelers through the extensive use of technology, automation, biometrics, and artificial intelligence, which help customers save time on administrative tasks while simultaneously reducing the company’s operating costs.

ByteTravel’s access document is available on the BME Growth website , where all data related to the company and its business can be found.
