SIX Appoints Alicia Reyes Revuelta as a New Independent Director of BME

The Board of Directors of BME is strengthened by the appointment of Alicia Reyes Revuelta as an independent director. After receiving authorization from the CNMV, Alicia Reyes Revuelta will participate in the Board’s ordinary meeting in October 2026 for the first time.

Alicia Reyes Revuelta is also a member of the boards of Ardonagh Europe, EDP, and KBC Group, and has served on the boards of other companies such as Banco Sabadell, Ferrovial and Wells Fargo International. She holds a 3 Dual Degree in Law and Economics and Business Administration from ICADE, and a PhD in Quantitative Methods and Financial Markets Program from ICADE. Throughout her career, focused on global banking and financial markets, with a strong focus on technology and ESG, she has held various leadership roles at, among other companies, Deutsche Bank, Telecom Ventures, Bear Stearns, Barclays Capital, and Olympo Capital. From 2015 to 2020 she was CEO of Wells Fargo Securities EMEA, and between 2021 and 2023 she was the founder president and CEO of Momentus Securities, a New York based broker-dealer focused on providing capital markets access to socially committed companies in the United States.
