Through its platform Visagov, the Barcelona-based company, founded in 2021, processes visas for more than 70 countries. By leveraging technology and artificial intelligence, it has transformed a process that was previously far from digitalised.
While this was its starting point, ByteTravel has since expanded its business to offer a full ecosystem of services designed to improve the travel experience, including eSIM cards (Roamic), insurance (Globely) and VIP lounge booking services (PrioVip).
“These ancillary travel services are not currently well covered by travel agencies or tour operators. We decided to focus on this niche, as these are often essential services,” says Axel Serena, CEO of ByteTravel. The company began trading in July 2024 on BME Scaleup as the first technology company to do so, and is now making the move to BME Growth.
ByteTravel reported €19.4 million in net sales in 2025, representing 74% growth compared to 2024. At the same time, average monthly revenue increased from €0.93 million in 2024 to €1.62 million in 2025, reflecting a significant improvement in commercial capacity. As of the end of 2025, the company had double liquidity coverage and 0% bank debt.
This expansion has continued into early 2026, marking a new phase of growth based on a broader and more consolidated business model. In the first quarter, revenue reached €7.31 million, compared to €4.88 million in the same period in 2025, representing 49.9% year-on-year growth.
