Once again this year, BME is participating in Financial Literacy Day through various initiatives. First, it will celebrate a honor Ring the Bell Ringing for Financial Literacy ceremony. Later, it will host a series of webinars open to the general public through the Instituto BME.
The Bell Ringing Ceremony is an international initiative of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) and IOSCO as part of Investors Week. This year, the event will be part of the official agenda for Financial Education Day, organized by Finanzas para Todos—an initiative promoted under the Financial Education Plan spearheaded by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Business, the CNMV, and the Bank of Spain, in which BME has participated since its launch.
The event will take place at the Madrid Stock Exchange Palace, and this year’s slogan is “Save. Invest. Move Forward”.
The webinars consist of three online sessions aimed at the general public. They will cover the fundamental concepts of saving, investing, and financial planning, demonstrating how these tools can contribute to greater economic stability, the achievement of personal and family goals, and better financial decision-making throughout one’s life.
Financial Education Day aims to improve citizens’ financial literacy and provide them with the tools they need to manage their finances responsibly and knowledgeably.
