Once again, BME and the UN Global Compact Spain are organizing a Bell Ringing Ceremony for Gender Equality to commemorate International Women's Day.
The event will take place on Monday, March 9, starting at 8:30 a.m., at the Madrid Stock Exchange Palace. The bell ringing will be led by Helena Viñes, member of the CNMV board and chair of the European Commission's Sustainable Finance Platform. She will be accompanied by Cristina Sánchez, executive director of the UN Global Compact Spain, Eva D. Castro, chair of UN Women Spain, and Juan Flames, CEO of BME.
The event is part of the “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” initiative promoted by the United Nations Global Compact, WFE, SSE, IFC, and UN Women.
This year's slogan is “Rights. Justice. Action.”
