The 5th Sustainable Finance Conference, organised by the BME Institute, returns to Madrid as a leading forum connecting academia, the market and supervisors. With a multidisciplinary programme, it will address ESG challenges, regulation and financial innovation to strengthen the transparency and accountability of the financial system. The event will promote institutional networking at the Madrid Stock Exchange Building, an emblem of the Landscape of Light recognised by UNESCO.
The conference brings together a high-level audience and acts as a bridge between theory and practice. It is aimed at key profiles in the ecosystem: academia and research, financial sector professionals, regulators and public policy makers, consultants and experts in corporate sustainability, and doctoral students.
The 2026 edition will be held in person on 17 and 18 September at the Madrid Stock Exchange Palace (Plaza de la Lealtad, 1).
