  • It is the first company to be listed on the Spanish stock exchange in 2026
  • The company, which debuted on BME Growth in 2021, is the fifth to make the leap to the main exchange market from BME's growth markets

BME has welcomed Arteche as a listed company on the main market of the Stock Exchange, after having been part of the BME Growth market for more than four years. Alexander Artetxe Panera, CEO of the company, rang the traditional bell at the Bilbao Stock Exchange, and he was accompanied by Juan Flames, CEO of BME, and Arantza Tellería, president of the Bilbao Stock Exchange.

This is yet another example of BME's work to enable companies to achieve their objectives and develop their projects by leveraging the markets and the financing ladder offered by BME, as well as the efforts made by the company over the years.

“Arteche is the fifth company to join the main market after passing through BME Growth. This is a significant milestone for the company, but also for us, as this is one of our main objectives and the purpose for which we work every day: to help companies grow, advance, and scale through the markets,” said Juan Flames, CEO of BME.

Alexander Artetxe Panera, CEO of Arteche, added: "It has been more than four years since we began our journey on BME Growth. Four years have flown by. Four years in which we have worked tirelessly to grow, strengthen our capabilities, and reinforce our position, both organically and inorganically. We have opened up new areas of business for the future, such as energy storage and asset management with advanced technologies, and we have demonstrated our commitment to sustainability and progress in the energy sector”

The company, which is the first to join the main stock market this year, began trading at a price of 23.20, the same as it closed in the previous session. Arteche began trading on the stock market under the ticker symbol “ART”, the same one it used during its time on BME Growth.

Arteche, a Basque Country company focused on the design, manufacture, and marketing of electrical equipment and solutions for the measurement, protection, automation, and control of electrical system networks, has reached this milestone after more than four years of trading on BME's growth markets. This leap forward represents a strategic commitment by the company to benefit from the advantages of liquidity, visibility, and prestige offered by the stock market.
