The Bolsa de Barcelona building is located on Paseo de Gracia, 19. From this downtown location, the Barcelona Stock Exchange (Bolsa de Barcelona) provides easy access to all national and international markets.

Guided tours

If you are interested in taking any type of the Guided Group Tours set out below, you must complete and send the form (fill request form) to the following email address, visitasbcn@grupobme.es, or you can also request further information calling 93 401 38 82.

This form must point out the type of visit you wish to do, as well as your contact details and the date on which the visit is requested.

Types of guided tours

Below are the different types of guided group tours offered by the Barcelona Stock Exchange.

Premium Visits consist of a 60 minute-long activity that explains the history, characteristics and operation of the Barcelona Stock Exchange and BME, and also includes a conference that discusses current topics related to financial markets and the economy. Furthermore, this type of visit includes some interactive digital materials, elaborated by BME's Market Research Department, that are related to financial markets, stock indexes and companies, in general. This educational material is available in Spanish and Catalan and can be sent to the person in charge of the group a day after the visit, together with the answers to the some exercises that are included.

 

Premium Visits are aimed at groups of students (high school or equivalent) interested in knowing the main functions of financial markets and a Stock Exchange operator.

The cost of Premium Visits is of 200€ + 21% VAT, regardless the number of attendees, although maximum capacity is limited to 50 people.

This type of visit is available in Catalan, Spanish and English.

 

A list of attendees will be requested prior to entrance into de building. Said document will include the full names and identification numbers (ID, DNI, NIE, passport or similar) of each attendee over the age of 18.

A completely filled out form will be required in order to proceed with booking, payment and subsequent issuance of an invoice.

There shall be no visits for individuals or small groups.

Small groups of visitors are not allowed to join other larger different ones.

Advanced Visits consist of an hour and a half-long activity with the same contents as the Premium Visit but with a greater level of detail. This type of visit aims to have attendees deepen their knowledge of the stock market.

These visits cover topics such as the history, characteristics and operation of the Barcelona Stock Exchange and the BME, the structure of stock markets and the evolution of major global stock market indices. They also explore current issues and the impact of macroeconomic and microeconomic variables on stock markets.

 

Advanced Visits are aimed at groups of university or master students, as well as professionals who are interested in learning more about national and international financial markets.

The cost of Advanced Visits is of 350€ + 21% VAT, regardless the number of attendees, although maximum capacity is limited to 50 people.

This type of visit is available in Catalan, Spanish and English.
