According to the Article 5 of Regulation (UE) 2016/1011, the Administrator shall establish and maintain a permanent and effective oversight function to ensure oversight of all aspects of the provision of their benchmarks.
The oversight function in Sociedad de Bolsas as Benchmark Administrator is carried out by a separate committee, the Technical Advisory Committee (CAT), which is independent from the Board of Directors and from other governance functions of the Administrator.
The oversight function of the Technical Advisory Committee covers those Benchmarks described in the document “TECHNICAL REGULATIONS FOR THE COMPOSITION AND CALCULATION OF THE SOCIEDAD DE BOLSAS, S.A. INDEXES” (Technical Rules).
