This company was created in 1993 and groups the environmental activities of German and Spanish companies.
Befesa is an international company specializing in the integral management of industrial wastes and the generation and management of water. We manage more than 2.5 Mt of industrial waste, allocating more than 1.2 Mt to the production of new materials through recycling; these activities prevent the emission of more than 1 Mt of CO2 per year. We have the capacity to desalinate more than 1Mm3 of water per day, equivalent to supplying 5 M people.
