MARF

The financing of small and medium-sized companies is not only channelled through Equity. Another option is the Fixed Income markets, which have been wide open for this type of company since the creation of the Alternative Fixed Income Market (MARF) in 2013.

Through MARF, financial resources are channelled to companies of different sizes, sectors and nationalities, since 6 of the more than 80 companies incorporated into this BME market are Portuguese. MARF offers these companies a wide range of financing formulas, such as projects involving commercial paper, bond issues, project bonds, green bonds, etc.

In addition, the MARF collaborates with the Spanish state-owned bank ICO with respect to guarantee facilities in the amount of 4 billion euros, launched by the Government to face the crisis generated by Covid-19.
